The Registered Nurse, utilizing theoretical concepts as a basis for decisions in practice will assess, plan, implement and evaluate individualized nursing care in accordance with standards of nursing practice for adult/geriatric patients. Candidate must report to facilities within the regional footprint of the home hospital where they are employed. Determination of facilities to be discussed upon hire into position with approval by hiring leader/leadership team. Position Details: MERCY HOSPITALS: SW MO Region Department: Regional Resource/Float Pool - MED/SURG Status: Full Time & Part Time Shift: Nights BeAMercyNurse Incentives: Regional Resource Shift Incentive: Variable Shift Differentials Benefits : Day-One Comprehensive Medical, Vision & Dental Insurance Retirement : 401(k) Employer-Matched Retirement Funds Referral Bonus Opportunity : $3,000 for experienced nurses Stay Premium: Active after 2 years with Mercy Overview: Mercy is currently seeking experienced nurses for Regional Resource RNs . Availability of shifts include full-time and part-time night shift. Nurses in these roles will be able to self-schedule and must be able and willing to travel to surrounding Mercy facilities within 90 miles from their home address. Facilities available include: Springfield Joplin Carthage Aurora Cassville Mountain View Lebanon Mercy Ortho Hospital (Ozark, MO) Pittsburg, KS Currently, the only unit available in this role is Med Surg (Nights) . Candidates able to work night shift are heavily encouraged to apply! Competitive pay, shift differentials, weekend differentials, and weekend option opportunities available! Qualifications: Education: Graduate of a state approved professional nurse program. Licensure: Current RN licensure with State Board of Nursing in the applicable state of practice or current temporary work permit in the applicable state of practice. Experience: 3 years of RN experience within your service line in the past 12 months. Certifications: Med Surg and Behavioral Health : BLS Physical Requirements: Position requires the ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 lbs on a regular basis. Position requires prolonged standing and walking during each shift. Position requires the ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties.
