General Statement of Job
The University Relations and Marketing office at Missouri Southern
is seeking a skilled Web Design Coordinator to grow the
university's online web presence and support the university's
marketing initiatives.
The ideal candidate will be a creative individual with great
attention to detail, diverse background in all aspects of web
design, and can collaborate with other in-house creative staff in a
fast-paced work environment.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities
Essential Duties:
Coordinate all aspects of MSSU.edu including the designing,
building, and maintenance of the primary landing pages.
Collaborate with other university departments by recommending
appropriate content and design structure for their department
webpages.
Work alongside the URM photographers, videographers, graphic
designers, and writers to accomplish the universities marketing
needs.
Be very comfortable multitasking on a number of different
projects.
Be able to meet tight deadlines while being respectful and having a
positive attitude with colleagues and students.
Provide monthly data analytics breakdowns on web traffic and
demographics.
Performs other duties as required.
Education, Experience, and Licenses
Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or
university in communications, digital media, computer science or a
related field is required.
Three to five years of work-related experience is preferred; or an
equivalent combination of education and experience.
