Locums Hematology and Oncology Physician in Joplin, Missouri - 2 Weeks Per Month, Advanced Cancer Care

This hematology and oncology assignment offers flexible block scheduling with a minimum two-week commitment and access to advanced cancer treatment technologies in both inpatient and outpatient settings.

Practice & Cases

• Mix of outpatient clinic and inpatient consult coverage
• Focus on hematology and medical oncology patients
• Consults, follow-up visits, and bone marrow procedures as needed
• Collaborate with two physicians, advanced practice providers, and hospitalists

Schedule

• Clinic schedule Monday through Friday
• Minimum two-week coverage blocks required
• Full-month coverage preferred
• Shared 1:3 call rotation with low callback volume

Requirements

• Must be an MD or DO
• Missouri license or Interstate Medical Licensure Compact Letter of Qualification required
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Hematology and Oncology
• ACLS, ATLS, and BLS required

Logistics

• Airfare, lodging, rental car, and mileage are covered
• Travel accommodations coordinated for scheduled coverage blocks
