JOB OVERVIEW Profession: Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist Specialty: CRNA - General Job Type: Locum Tenens Location: Springfield, MO 658047 Service Setting: Inpatient Coverage Type: Clinical Only Coverage Period: ASAP Ongoing Shift Schedule: 10 hours; Days and Nights available - Fri-& Mon: 7a-5p - Sat & Sun: 7a-5p or 7a-11p Reason for Coverage: Extra Volume Travel, Lodging, and Malpractice Insurance: Covered by Agency PATIENT INFORMATION Case Mix: General Anesthesia, OB, Pediatric, Neonatal, Trauma, Neurosurgical, Thoracic, Vascular, Orthopedic FACILITY INFORMATION EMR System: Epic PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE Hospital Privileges Required: No Temporary Privileges Available: No REQUIRED PROCEDURES Required: CRNA supervision Preferred: General Anesthesia Adult Pediatric Neonatal Trauma Spinal Anesthesia Epidural Anesthesia Regional Anesthesia Surgery Obstetrical Cases Neurosurgical cases Head Spine Open Heart Anesthesia Thoracic cases (except open heart) Complex vascular cases (except open heart) Complex orthopedic cases Pain management techniques Post-op epidural Post-op extremity blocks Epidural steroid for Lumbar Epidural steroid for Cervical Transforaminal Lumbar Cervical Use of x-ray guidance in performance of blocks Ventilation management Evaluation and management of acute volume/BP issues Central Line placement Arterial Line placement PA Catheter placement JOB REQUIREMENTS Board: Eligible Licenses: Licensed in MO or Universal License (IMLC) Duties & Responsibilities Provide anesthesia services under medical direction from an Anesthesiologist. Support weekend OR expansion coverage including 7 ORs on Saturday and 7 ORs on Sunday. Provide coverage for OB cases. Work 10-hour shifts with availability for both day and evening rotations. Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure efficient patient care during high-volume periods.
