leadership: provide clinical oversight and mentorship to
hospitalists and other medical professionals within the department
Quality improvement: develop and implement quality initiatives
aimed at improving patient outcomes, satisfaction, and operational
efficiency Strategic planning: collaborate with hospital leadership
in long-term planning, workforce development, and resource
management Team development: facilitate ongoing professional
development, training, and performance evaluations of hospitalist
staff Collaboration: foster positive relationships with nursing,
case management, and specialty service lines to promote
interdisciplinary care Qualifications MD or DO degree from an
accredited medical school Board certified in internal medicine (IM)
or family medicine (FM) Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience
in hospital medicine Previous leadership or administrative
experience in hospital medicine is preferred but not required
