Telemetry Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Joplin, Missouri.
Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Telemetry - Discipline:
RN - Start Date: 04/06/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per
week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel RN
Position Job Notes: Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for
ASAP start. A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside
experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5
weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the
initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available. Opportunity: RN
- Cardiac Tele Job Details: • Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00
PM to 7:30 AM • Schedule: 3 shifts per week (3x12) • 36 guaranteed
hours per week • Weekend hours as required by facility • Call
requirements as required by facility • Patient ratio: 1:6 • 2 years
of Stepdown or ICU experience in acute care hospital required •
Must be competent with insulin drips, precedex, titrating
nitroglycerin, Cardizem, and BiPAP • Required certifications: BLS,
ACLS, NIHS • Work with IV pumps, computers, glucometer, and GE
monitoring equipment • EMR system: EPIC • Care for post cardiac
cath patients, atrial fibrillation, CHF, general medical overflow,
stable MI, post heart caths with interventions, medical cardiac
patients, pacemaker insertions • Handle post-operative surgical
patients and trauma cases • Dress code: Black scrubs required •
Must demonstrate flexibility, dependability, and strong teamwork
skills • Float requirements as required by facility • Flexible
contract length available (8-26 weeks) • Flu vaccination required
