Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 03/23/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel RN Position Job Notes: Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available. Opportunity: RN - NICU Job Details: • Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM • 3x12 schedule with 36 guaranteed hours per week • Weekend requirements as needed by facility, typically every other weekend • Call requirements as needed by facility • Patient ratios of 1:2 or 1:3 (estimates, not guaranteed) • Float requirements as needed by facility, typically to mother/baby and pediatrics • Work in 16-bed Level III NICU with GE equipment and EPIC EMR system • Required certifications: BLS AHA and NRP • Preferred certifications: NIHSS • 3 years experience in Level III or higher NICU required • Must have experience with STABLE, NRP, bubble CPAP, high flow, and high risk deliveries • Care for neonatal patients requiring Level III NICU services • Dress code requires black scrubs only • Flu vaccination required November 1-April 1 (exceptions must be client approved) • Must demonstrate excellent communication, analytical and organizational skills • Must be familiar with Level III NICU concepts, practices, and procedures • Ideal personality traits include being a good team player, optimistic, kind, and showing great initiative Facility: This healthcare facility has been providing healing services to southwestern Missouri for over a century and continues to offer compassionate medical and specialty care.
