community has access to quality healthcare. Job Summary: The
Purchasing and Receiving Specialist supports and maintains supply
chain operation including managing inventory levels, ensuring
proper storage and rotation of supplies and assisting with
distribution to clinics, and ensuring adherence to regulatory and
internal policies while helping maintain smooth daily supply and
delivery activities. Key Responsibilities: Responsible for
completing daily supply chain activities. Perform inventory counts
as needed to monitor for picking or receiving errors; print monthly
expiration reports to identify short-dated or outdated items;
monitor to ensure proper stock rotation within Central Supply.
Facilitate returns or transfers of overstocked, short-dated, and
outdated items. Recording and reporting inventory inaccuracies as
required by the MO Board of Pharmacy. Ensure proper, secure storage
of all Rx-only or legend items including controlled substances,
refrigerated and frozen items. Adhere to written purchasing and
inventory policies. Substitute for couriers as necessary providing
accurate and timely delivery to outlying clinics. Promotes
effective working relations and work effectively as part of a team
to facilitate the Clinic’s ability to meet its goals and
objectives. Attains all agreed to goals and objectives within
specified time frames, as part of the Clinic’s overall mission.
Responsibly follows the Clinic Exposure Control Plans/Bloodborne
and Airborne Pathogens. Demonstrates respect and regard for the
dignity of all patients, families, visitors and fellow employees to
ensure a professional, responsible and courteous environment.
Promotes the education and development of students, interns,
residents, apprentices, and other new staff by sharing expertise,
responding to questions, and fostering a positive and supportive
learning environment. All other duties as assigned. Benefits

Pharmacy Technician License or ability to obtain license within 30
days of employment. Valid driver’s license. Preferred
Qualifications: Two (2) years of any educational endeavor beyond
graduation from an accredited high school or its equivalent. 1-3
years healthcare purchasing experience Basic computer operation
understanding
