Registered Nurse (RN) | Progressive Care Unit Location: Springfield, MO Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,074 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified PCU RN in Springfield, Missouri, 65804! Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Step Down Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 year License: Current RN License in the state Certifications: BLS and ACLS from AHA only Must-Have: 1 year of experience in an inpatient setting, specifically ICU. Ability to work as a team player. Description: The registered nurse will perform direct patient care activities for all age groups. Responsibilities include assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care. The nurse will monitor and coordinate patient care activities. The position requires collaboration with ancillary departments to optimize patient comfort. Maintaining patient rights and confidentiality of patient information is essential. The nurse will utilize the nursing process to provide care for patients post-trauma, surgical interventions, and medical comorbidities. The role involves standing and walking most of the time on duty. Significant bending and stooping, as well as lifting and turning patients with assistance, may be required. The nurse may have to work differing schedules according to patient care requirements. There is a high-risk exposure to blood and body fluids. Physical demands include pushing, pulling, gripping up to 50 lbs, and pinching up to 15 lbs. The candidate should be prepared to kneel, crouch, and crawl minimally as part of their duties.
