Registered Nurse (RN) | Emergency Room (ER) / Trauma Location: Springfield, MO Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $1,840 per week Shift Information: Days - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/1/2026 About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Emergency Department Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Days Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 1 year in Emergency Department at a Level 1 or 2 Trauma facility License: Current RN License eligible for licensure in the state Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, NIHSS (must obtain prior to start) Must-Have: 1 year Emergency Department experience or 2 years in a Level 2 Trauma facility Description: This position is auto-offer. Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care. Maintains professional accountability for the provision of patient care. Evaluates the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers. Coordinates patient care in conjunction with other departments. Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information. Performs duties and responsibilities consistent with established guidelines of nursing practice. Monitors and coordinates patient care activities with ancillary departments to optimize patient care and comfort. Functions within the scope of nursing preparation. Demonstrated skill in human relations and communications is required. Must have demonstrated clinical expertise in their area of responsibility. The working environment is a busy urban trauma center. Patient age groups vary widely. Requires standing and walking most of the time on duty. May involve lifting and pushing patients on stretchers and in wheelchairs. Physical demands include pushing, pulling, gripping up to 50 lbs, and pinching up to 15 lbs. Additional physical activities include kneeling, crouching, and crawling minimally. This facility has a strong focus on patient satisfaction. Safety and innovation are top priorities. The facility holds several recognitions for quality of care provided. High acuity experience is preferred. The unit operates with a routine patient ratio of 4:1, subject to change based on circumstances. Dress code requires black scrubs and prohibits unprofessional attire. No block scheduling can be accommodated. Requests for time off must be made on the back end.
