Job Description:
Urgent Need: Springfield, MO Surgical Center - Pediatric
Ophthalmologist - Locum Tenens Facility: Surgical Center Practice:
Outpatient Reason: High volume Required: Board Eligible; MO
License, BNDD & DEA (Can assist, but not cover expense for
obtaining MO license) Clinic schedule: M-F 8:00 a.m. - 4:40 p.m.
Need: Full-time locum coverage Call schedule: 4x month average;
Call type: Beeper Patients per day: 20 NICU: 1-6 patients per day
EMR: Epic A completed Covid vaccination card is now a required bid
document to bid your provider and for your provider to be
considered to work locums with Mercy Procedures: Pediatric
strabismus, screening/treatment of amblyopia, refractive errors,
down syndrome/cerebral palsy/cortical blindness, retinopathy of
prematurity, retinal malformations, retinoblastoma, and optic nerve
disorders, nystagmus, drooping/misshapen eyelids & hemangiomas,
tear duct disorders, orbital infections & tumors, disorders or eye
movement & double vision Current staffing: 2 physicians (1 full
time, 1 part-time), 5 ophthalmic assistants, 1 scheduler
