Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Med Surg - Discipline: RN - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel /n Job Description/n American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg night shift contract requiring an AR or compact RN license and recent specialty experience. /n /n Responsibilities/n - Work in a hospital-based Medical-Surgical unit on Floor 1 - Treat adult Med/Surg patients with a variety of acute conditions - Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM - 13-week contract assignment - Floating may be required as per facility needs - Primary responsibilities include providing comprehensive nursing care to patients on the Med/Surg unit during night shifts - RTO requests must be less than one week in length - Holiday and weekend coverage may be required as assigned - First time travelers are welcome to apply /n /n Requirements/n - Active AR or compact state RN license required at time of consideration - At least 1 year of recent Med/Surg RN experience required - Must have no work history gaps longer than 90 days in the past 12 months - No certifications may expire within 30 days of start - Candidates must live outside a 50-mile radius from the facility - Former permanent staff of any CHS facility within the last 2 years are ineligible /n Benefits/n - High Pay and Bonuses - Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options - 401(k) Plan - Weekly Payroll Deposit - Free Online CEUs - Generous Housing Allowance - Travel and Licensure Reimbursements - Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy - Traveler Rewards and Discounts /n American Traveler Job ID P-643439.
