be considered. An opportunity is available for a Registered Nurse
with oncology infusion experience to provide exceptional care at a
reputable healthcare facilitys Oncology Fusion Center in Joplin,
MO. This contract position offers a consistent Monday through
Friday daytime schedule, working 5 shifts per week from 8:00 AM to
4:30 PM with 36 guaranteed hours. The role involves delivering
specialized nursing care to oncology patients in both clinic and
infusion settings, requiring a strong background in infusion
therapy and the ability to float between units as needed.
Responsibilities: - Administer chemotherapy and infusion treatments
utilizing equipment such as Alaris pumps - Provide Port Access and
PICC line care with competence and precision - Manage patient care
for a high-volume clinic (up to 100 patients daily) and infusion
center with 29 chairs (ratio of approximately 4 chairs per nurse) -
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient
outcomes - Adhere to facility protocols including required flu
vaccination compliance (November-April) - Perform other duties as
assigned, including taking call as required by the facility
Qualifications & Desired Experience: - Active RN license with at
least 1 year of nursing experience - Prior infusion experience
required; chemotherapy certification preferred - Proficient in Port
Access and PICC line care - Current Basic Life Support (BLS)
certification - Ability to float between Oncology Clinic and
Infusion Center - Professional appearance adhering to dress code:
black scrubs required; t-shirts not permitted Location Highlights
