Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: OR - Operating Room - Discipline: RN - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel RN Position Job Notes: /n/n Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available. /n/n Opportunity: /n RN - OR /n/n Job Details: /n • Work 12-hour day shifts from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM /n• Three shifts per week schedule (3x12) /n• 36 guaranteed hours per week /n• Weekend work as required by facility /n• Call requirements as needed by facility /n• Float requirements as required by facility /n• 2 years of operating room experience required /n• Current RN license (eligible for Missouri licensure or currently licensed in Missouri) /n• BLS certification from AHA required /n• Work in 11-bed operating room complex with 1:1 patient ratios /n• Utilize Stryker equipment and EPIC EMR system /n• Provide patient care using the nursing process /n• Maintain professional accountability for patient care provision /n• Evaluate effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers /n• Coordinate patient care with other departments /n• Maintain patient rights and confidentiality /n• Ceil blue scrubs provided by facility /n/n Facility: /n This healthcare facility has been serving the southwestern Missouri area for over a century, providing compassionate medical and specialty care.
