Pay Information $2,226 per week About The Position Job Title: RN Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Nights Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Current RN License Certifications: BLS from AHA only Must-Have: 2 years of Level 1 or 2 Trauma Experience. Scrub and OR Circulator experience. Description: Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care. Maintains professional accountability for provision of patient care. Evaluates the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers. Coordinates patient care in conjunction with other departments. Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with the organization's mission, values, and service standards. Performs direct patient care activities for all age groups to include assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Monitors and coordinates patient care activities with ancillary departments to optimize patient care and comfort. Functions within the scope of nursing preparation and consistent with established guidelines of nursing practice. Demonstrated skill in human relations and communications is required. Must have demonstrated clinical expertise in their area of responsibility. Working conditions require standing and walking most of the time on duty. Lifting and pushing patients on stretchers and in wheelchairs is involved. Usually works in a clean, air-conditioned area.
