COVERAGE REQUIREMENTS Orthopedic Surgery (ORS)

• One provider preferred to cover dates below, will consider multiple if needed
• Dates needed:
  • October 6, 7, 8
  • November 23, 24, 25, 26
  • December 22, 23, 24, 25
  • December 31 - January 1
  • Ongoing Openings Through 2024POSITION DETAILS Orthopedic Surgery (ORS)
    • Setting: Inpatient
    • 24-hour call coverage
    • Cases: Mostly blunt trauma (car accidents) do not keep pelvic fractures (closest Level I is Springfield, MO 1 hour away) and limited pediatric ortho, healthy athletes mostly (peds cases go to Springfield or Childrens Mercy in KC)
    • Level II, 340 Hospital Beds
    • 24/7 Anesthesia in-house
    • Board certified or truly Board Eligible (within 3-5 years of completing training)
    • Credentialing timeframe: about 30-45 days
    • EMR: Meditech
