Hospital system is a 460-bed, three-hospital system providing comprehensive healthcare and behavioral health services to an area that includes more than 450,000 residents from Missouri, Kansas, Oklahoma and Arkansas. Hospital is a physician-driven, community-owned, not-for-profit full-service tertiary care center with over 75 percent of the market share in managed care contracts. Internal Medicine/Geriatric Opportunity: (Visa candidates are encouraged to apply)Requires Fellowship trained Geriatrician, or Internal Medicine w/ special interest in GeriatricsPractice outpatient IM & Geriatric MedicineAdmit to an established Hospitalist serviceShare space with one BC Geriatrician and one pat-time RheumatologistStaffed with an experienced and dedicated Social Worker and support staffState-of-the-art Geriatric Medicine Center offers seven exam rooms and one pharmacy roomRN manages and operates onsite infusion centerCognitive testing done on-siteMultidisciplinary clinic provides many services to the geriatric populationTailored, private office spacePhysician-driven system where providers are encouraged to be involvedCompetitive compensation and benefits packageUrgent Care Opportunity: (not accepting Visa candidates)Seeking BC / BE in emergency medicine, family practice or internal medicine/pediatrics with Urgent care experience.Two free-standing facilities with combined volume of 50,000 annual visits.Open 8 am - 8 pm Monday - Friday; 10 am - 6 pm Saturday and SundayWalk-in patients with minor injuries and illnessesCLIA waived lab and X-ray on-siteExcellent marketing and hospital supportWork with an experienced staff of RNs and radiology techniciansFull-time physicians work 12-15 shifts per monthEnjoy a flexible schedule allowing plenty of time off. The doctors rotate between two locations within a short drive apart.12 hours shifts Monday- Friday (8am-8pm) and Sat/Sun 10 hour shifts (10am-6pm), (76 hour a pay check.)They have a unique schedule but it works well. 52 hours one week and 24 the next. Work Mon/Tue, off Wed/Thurs, work Fri/Sat/Sun, then the next week Mon/Tue off, work Wed/Thurs, off Fri/Sat/Sun. Basically they have every other weekend off and it's always 3 day weekends. Physicians do earn PTO as well since it's an hourly position.Spanish is not a requirement it would be a nice added bonus. We always have 2 ER trained RNs, 2-3 techs and 1 xray tech at each location and each day.
