Join us and discover why Modern Healthcare Magazine named us in its "Top 100 Places to Work."Overview:The Radiation Therapy Technologist works under the direction of the radiation oncologist and medical physicist in conjunction with the manager to position and deliver ionizing radiation to patients in accordance with the physician's prescription and instruction. Radiation Therapy Technologist is responsible for monitoring the patient while under treatment using audio and visual accessories at all times. Radiation Therapy Technologist will also perform quality assurance procedures such as treatment machine output and chart reviews as assigned by the Director and medical physicist.Qualifications:

• Education: Secondary and some post-secondary. Graduation from an accredited Radiological Technology program with certification in Radiation Therapy from the ARRT or graduation from an accredited Radiation Therapy program with ARRT certification.
• Other: Excellent communication, analytical and organizational skills are required, and must be familiar with a variety of the radiotherapy concepts, practices, and procedures. Able to operate various types of office equipment, including a computer, fax machine, telephone, printer and copy machine.
• Preferred Education: Post-secondary (undergraduate), three to five -
• Preferred Certifications: ARRT (T) Registered Technologist Radiation Therapy.
