**Hospitalist opening in Missouri** * Located in ***Joplin, MO*** - just 70 miles from Springfield, MO! * Full-time, permanent opening * Joining 2 other Board Certified Internists * Schedule: 7 on/7 off; 12-hours shifts * Call: 1:7 during scheduled work weeks * Flexibility to work additional shifts! * Hospitalist team takes new admissions until 4 pm * On-call doctor takes new admissions 4 pm and beyond * Nights covered by Nocturnist and IM residents * Average 18 patients per shift per physician * In-house intensivist program 24/7 * Teaching service for IM residency program * $1,259 per shift, plus annual quality-based bonus potential * Excellent Benefits Package * Meditech electronic health record * Service area of 450,000 people The 4th largest metropolitan area in the state, Joplin has a strong, diverse economic base.
