Director supports the ministry of Convoy of Hope by configuring,
supporting, and maintaining Microsoft Dynamics 365, Salesforce, and
Monitoring and Evaluation enterprise software applications. This
position continually improves and enhances Convoy's enterprise
platforms, gathering requirements and feedback, designing scalable
best practice solutions, managing the product roadmap, and
identifying areas of improvement. The Enterprise Applications
Director must have a good understanding of the Dynamics 365 and
Salesforce platforms and be able to understand Convoy's current
setup and business objectives with an emphasis on supply chain and
fundraising.Key Responsibilities
- User Management and Access Control: continuously reviews and
optimizes role-based authorizations within Dynamics 365 and
Salesforce environments to ensure secure and efficient system
usage.
- System Monitoring and Maintenance: proactively monitors
Dynamics 365 and Salesforce environments to identify and resolve
performance issues, ensuring optimal system performance,
availability, and reliability.
- Release and Change Management: stays up to date with upcoming
releases and fixes for Dynamics 365 and Salesforce, assessing their
impact on the environment and coordinating the implementation of
release and change management processes.
- Administration: serves as the primary point of contact for the
entire application, including security coordination of APIs and
software vendors, license utilization and projected needs, and
analyzing and modifying the system configuration, to include
testing and debugging in response to support tickets.
- Integration Support: works with external vendors to
troubleshoot issues and resolve performance problems with
APIs.
- Documentation and Knowledge Management: documents key
processes, system designs, and Standard Operating Procedures
related to Dynamics 365 and Salesforce administration, maintenance,
and troubleshooting.
- Maintenance Notifications: monitors and communicates scheduled
maintenance notifications to internal teams, minimizing disruptions
to operations.
- Collaboration: works closely with cross-departmental teams and
vendors, including developers, analysts, and stakeholders, to
address system requirements and improve user experiences. Works
with other working groups within Convoy of Hope to ensure proper
workflows and training documentation.
- Oversees Salesforce configuration changes, including (but not
limited to) flow, assignment rules, approval processes, fields,
page layouts, record types, dynamic layouts, apps, actions, custom
settings, mobile administration, dashboards, and reports.
- Utilizes strong analytical and data management skills to create
Key Performance Indicator reports for the Office of the President
and other reports as assigned.
- Monitors data integration and identifies and resolves problem
areas using Data Modeling and Migration tools.
- Oversees and troubleshoots reports, builds dashboards, and
transforms numerical data into usable information to assist Convoy
of Hope in making strategic business decisions.
- Helps architect new initiatives to increase efficiency in
collecting data into CRM and reporting out of CRM or interfacing
with other databases within the organization.
- Provides an in-depth look at performance (ROI) of fundraising
direct mail, email strategies, and events.
- Documents system configurations and provides training materials
for end users and new hires.
- Helps maintain health of database by offering support and best
practice recommendations.
- Fulfills other duties as assigned.Required Knowledge, Skills &
Abilities
- A bachelor's degree is required.
- Three or more years of experience as a Dynamics 365
Administrator or in a similar role, or two or more years of
experience as a Dynamics 365 Administrator consultant, is
required.
- Experience working on or closely with Supply Chain or
Fundraising teams is preferred.
- Displays strong customer service skills, interpersonal
communication skills, and attention to detail.
- Exhibits ability to multitask with speed, accuracy, and
efficiency, completing each project within time deadlines.
- Is confident and outgoing, with a strong emphasis on customer
satisfaction.
- Demonstrates a deep understanding of Microsoft Dynamics and
Salesforce applications, architecture, and modules.
- Displays proficiency in user management, access control, and
permissions allocations within Microsoft environments.
- Possesses knowledge of supporting release and project
management processes.
- Exhibits excellent documentation and knowledge management
skills.
- Demonstrates strong analytical and data management skills.
- Possesses experience with Data Modeling and Migration
tools.
- Displays communication skills needed for clear explanation of
reports and data sets.
- Attends and actively participates in Convoy of Hope At Home
Week meetings and activities as a required responsibility to the
organization and fellow team members.
- Serves as an advocate for the ministry, striving to nurture,
broaden, and develop financial and other resource opportunities to
support and expand organizational and program ministry.
- Positively represents the ministry of Convoy of Hope, including
its mission statement and core values, to all outside
constituencies.
- As a Christian organization, Convoy of Hope believes it is
