Job Description:

Manager project teams to ensure that products for our customers projects are manufactured, delivered and installed effectively, efficiently, on-time, to specifications, with attention to high-quality workmanship and in a cost effective manner. The PM is given significant discretion and responsibility, and therefore must use his or her independent judgement for significant decisions for every job, from the initial cost estimate through final installation, inspection and close-out. The PM, in conjunction with the sales and production teams, insure customer service and are expected to interact directly with the customer to make sure the company is delivering products which meet the customers requirements and are within budget guidelines. Performance objectives include the delivery of customer projects on-time, within budget and to specifications. Create and develop plans to track progress of projects. Create accurate and reasonable project budgets to assure profitability of projects. Key task include the management of teams and the hiring and supervision of subcontractors for each customer project. Oversee the work of subcontractors and vendors employed on the project and supervise the labor force employed for the project, consisting of regular company personnel and project-specific temporary laborers. Make decisions regarding scope of work and delegate to subcontractors. Review/approve subcontractor requests and payment. Choose appropriate vendors. Make purchasing decisions. Report and make recommendations regarding subcontractor advancement, firing and change of status as well as their compliance with safety regulations. Meet with customer or representatives of customer to resolve issues and solve problems. Interface with production, business development, sales and finance personnel. Contribute to the development of company to deliver quality products. Process and communicate change orders, assuring the customer and project team are aware of changes and effect on time and budget. Close projects to include such tasks as addressing punch lists, execute close-out documents and completing warranty requests. Eligibility Requirements Must be bilingual [English/Spanish], must have installation experience, experience with manufacturing of casework and millwork. Ability and willingness to make decisions independently and use business judgement as to important tasks, while adhering to customer and companys best interests. Strong problem solving skills. Strong experience with supply chain management to include cost estimating, lead-time reduction, inventory management, installation and inspection. Effective communication and interpersonal skills, influencing, negotiating, assertiveness. Company hours are Mon-Thurs [6:00 am 5:00 pm], Friday [6:00 am 4:00 pm], and every other Saturday [6:00 am 2:00 pm]
