Job Duties and Responsibilities: Install, troubleshoot, and maintain PLC-based automation and control systems in correctional facilities Integrate and support touch screen panels connected to systems like lighting, water, HVAC, door locks, and intercoms Interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and control logic Perform on-site testing and commissioning of systems at customer locations Travel frequently to job sites across the U.S. (air travel and extended stays required) Provide remote and on-site technical support during and after installation Collaborate with engineering and project teams to ensure system integrity and functionality Maintain detailed documentation of installations, updates, and field modifications Requirements: 3 years of experience in controls, automation, or PLC systems (Allen-Bradley or similar) Strong troubleshooting skills in electrical and control systems Ability to read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and panel layouts Proficient with HMI or touch panel interfaces Willing and able to travel 50–60% of the time Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills Valid driver's license and ability to pass extensive background checks required Prior experience in correctional, industrial, or facilities-based automation is a plus Why Join Us: Competitive pay and generous profit sharing All travel expenses covered, including lodging, flights, meals, and incidentals Full benefits package with 401(k) and PTO Work with a close-knit team and make a direct impact on essential systems Exposure to high-tech, mission-driven automation projects in a unique industry Note: Due to the sensitive nature of the work, all applicants must pass a comprehensive background check to meet facility security standards.
