This opportunity seeks a dedicated Special Education Teacher to provide instructional support across grades K12 in a school setting. The position focuses on self-contained classrooms, resource rooms, and special day classrooms, offering a diverse and enriching teaching experience. The role is contract-based, beginning as soon as possible and extending through the end of the school year. Key Responsibilities: Deliver tailored instruction to students in grades K12 with special education needs. Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) to meet diverse learning goals. Collaborate with educational teams, families, and support staff to enhance student progress. Maintain accurate records on student performance and classroom activities. Adapt teaching strategies to accommodate different learning styles and abilities. Qualifications and Experience: Active state license in Special Education required. Experience teaching in special education settings from grades K through 12 is highly valued. Ability to manage self-contained, resource, and special day classrooms effectively. Strong communication and organizational skills. Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive classroom environment. Location: Springdale, AR Working Conditions: Contract duration: Immediate start through end of the school year. Hours: 30 to 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday. Age group served: Kindergarten through 12th grade.
